Palettes with enough upvotes could be automatically sent to queue and/or approved. Downvoted palettes are more likely to be rejected. To make things fair, pending example art for the palette should [also] be visible on its webpage. It's important that both users and staff see how the palette can be utilized before making up their minds.
My Reasoning: I have a palette with an example that has been pending for 8 days now and Lospec's palette queue is completely empty. The same goes for mine and other users' palette example art as well. It doesn't help [either] that newer submissions are higher up on the list.
