We do still need to add a way for a user to remove a piece (though this might not be allowed for palettes that have been added to our list)

Okay I've hidden rejected palettes from your own profile, now only approved palettes should show. You should still be able to get to your rejected submissions from /user/submissions, which is linked on the user dropdown at the top.

You still can't delete them, but they wont show anywhere except that page, and no one can view them but you.

I just want to clarify that the "dead palettes" you see on your profile are not shown to other users. Though I agree we need a better way to display them than putting them on your profile.
